Description of Practice: Joel Fears, LMT, Mind Body Massage

I help people to get relief from back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, sciatica, fibromyalgia and other types of musculoskeletal pain. I also offer lymphatic drainage massage for clients with cancer and cosmetic surgery recovery. My treatment includes massage, movement and stretching. I also offer Functional Medicine coaching sessions that help clients obtain and maintain their health wellness goals. Clients can choose a membership plan that combines massage therapy and functional medicine coaching for $100 a month.

The massage services offered include: 

• Swedish (a distress eliminating modality for relaxation)
• Myofascial release (a modality that releases muscle tension, joint immobility, stops or reduces pain)
• Stretching flexibility massage involves passive stretching and pressing to help increase flexibility and energy
• Lymphatic drainage massage, encourage the natural drainage of lymph fluid, that carries toxins and waste products, also recommended for post-cosmetic surgical treatments
• Trigger point therapy, which involves pressing on an area of body causing tenderness in another area of the body
• Sports massage is for pre-sporting events and post-event muscle recovery.

I have more than 16 years of experience as a massage therapist. I provide in-home services (mobile massage) throughout Volusia and Flagler counties. Sessions range from one to two hours.
