Dr. Bing You is an Integrative Medicine Doctor, speaker, and Director of weMED Wellness Center. His calming bedside manner and unwavering optimism inspire his clients and audiences alike. His accomplishments include being named Diplomate of the Academy of American Pain Management and being the first Chinese Medicine Doctor with admitting privileges at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital. He has participated in acupuncture research with the Baylor College of Medicine and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and stays abreast of the latest scientific research in both Eastern and Western medicine. After passing 12 modules rigorous tests, Dr. You is the only doctor in Houston who has received the AABB Cellular Therapy Certificate, the nation’s highest training in Functional Medicine Therapy by American Association of Blood Bank. He is a member of AABB, International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) and American Academy of Pain Management. He is on the Medical Advisory Board for Houston Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation
He is an integrated medicine doctor trained both in western and eastern medicine from China, an Associate Professor teaching acupuncture and Chinese medicine, a Diplomate of American Academy of Pain Management and National Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, 6th Generation Disciple of Tai Chi & Qi ‘Gong Master.
Since childhood, he witnessed the effectiveness of both Eastern and Western medicine and has sought to integrate them to bring the best of both approaches to work for his clients, often avoiding unnecessary and hazardous actions by carefully selecting the safest and most effective approach to the patient’s problem from either system of medicine. His passion for reducing medications and by restoring wellness.
